Ukwa: Asa Development Union Youth President, Victor Enyioko To Bury Late Father On Saturday, Sept 6, 2025

The people of Ikpokwu Community in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State will be thrown into deeper mourning on Saturday, September 6, 2025, as the Youth President of Asa Development Union, (ADU), Victor ENYIOKO, (ARC DON BEST), is set to commit the remains of his late father, Rev. Wilson Oguguo Enyioko to mother earth.

In an official statement released by the chief mourner, Victor Enyioko, ‎Late (retd) Rev Wilson Oguguo Enyioko was born on June 2, 1951, into the family of Pa Jeremiah and Madam Ngozi Enyioko of Ikpokwu – Asa, Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State. As a child, he was known for his humility, strong moral character and being quiet. He had an undeniable passion for learning and godliness.

‎Late Wilson Oguguo Enyioko responded to a divine calling that led him to Bible School, where he was trained and ordained as a minister of the Assemblies of God Church, Nigeria.

‎Throughout his ministerial journey, he served across various districts and sections and held leadership positions such as the District Evangelist, Mission’s Coordinator and Revivalist. He preached with both fire and Grace; a man who was not only a Spiritual leader but a true Shepherd of souls.

‎His ministry emphasized holiness, family integrity, community development and uncompromising faith in Jesus Christ. He was a Church Planter, a mentor to many Pastors and a Spiritual Father to countless men and women across denominations.

‎He was united in Holy matrimony to Evangelist Cecilia O. Enyioko on July 18,1981, a marriage that flourished in love, purpose and mutual service to God. Together they raised six biological children and numerous spiritual sons and daughters.

‎Rev Wilson Oguguo Enyioko was not only a preacher, but also a man of peace and discipline who stood for truth in the home, on the pulpit and in the community. Even after retirement, he remained active in mentoring young ministers, offering wise counsel and interceding in prayer until his final day.

‎One of the most profound signs of God’s hands upon his life is the divine timing of his departure. Rev. Enyioko was born on June 2nd, and exactly 74 years later, on the same date, June 2nd 2024, he was called home to glory. ‎

It is manifestly clear that the people of Ukwa West, particularly, Ikpokwu in Ozaa West Autonomous Community in Ukwa West will, undoubtedly feel the void left by a man described as a “preacher, peacemaker, and principled leader.
