Ukwa: Ozaa West APC Concludes First Phase of Rotational Meetings As It Welcomes New Members

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Ozaa West Ward in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, has successfully concluded the first phase of its rotational village meetings, aimed at expanding the party and strengthening grassroots engagement. The final meeting of this phase was held on Monday at the Village Town Hall, Umuituru, one of the seven villages making up the political Ward.

Addressing party members, Ozaa Zonal Leader, Hon. Ezedinachi Kanu, praised the increasing participation in party activities, attributing the surge in APC membership to the strategic formation of village-level mobilisation teams. He noted that these teams have been instrumental in driving grassroots sensitization and recruiting new members across the Ward.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Ozaa West Ward, Mr. Ishmael Nnah, emphasized the importance of unity, collaboration, and consistency in building a strong and politically relevant APC structure within the Ward, and by extension, the Ukwa West APC.

Key highlights of the meeting included the official welcoming of new members, presentation of progress reports by the Chairmen of the Mobilisation Teams from each of the seven villages and formation of a special task force to address critical community development challenges identified during the rotational meetings.

Prominent attendees at the event included Abia South APC Women Leader, Mrs. Anthonia Moses Enyioko; former Deputy Chairman of Ukwa West Local Government Council, Chikaodi Ogbonna; Engr. Emeka Richard; Uchenna Nwator; Okechukwu Arthur; and Ndubuisi Eliogu.
