The construction of ASA CIVIC CENTRE by the Dr Alex Otti’s led administration in the State, spearhead by Ven Joshua Ogadinma Onyeike PhD, the General Manager of ASOPADEC, is a monumental achievement that will forever immortalize H/E, Dr Alex Otti’s Legacy in Ukwa.
This could be viewed as a ‘Lasting Tribute’ on one hand; This iconic project serves as a testament to the Governor’s vision of development in Abia State. ASA CIVIC CENTRE will stand as a symbol of his Leadership and commitment to the people of Ukwa.
On the other hand, it could be viewed as a way of transforming the landscape of Ukwa by;
1. Enhance Community Engagement: There is no doubt that this monumental project will provide a vibrant space for social gathering and events in Ukwa.
2. Boost Local Economy: It is obvious that this uncommon community project will attract investments and creat opportunities for economic growth when effectively handled by ADU apex body.
3. Promote Cultural Heritage: There’s no gainsaying that this signature project will preserve and showcase the rich cultural heritage of Ukwa by way of using the facility for Ukwa Summit. Most importantly, the serene environment will encourage all villages to participate in the annual ritual of ASA DAY(26TH DEC.). During which all manner of traditional antiquities will be dished out not excluding cultural dancing and wrestling competitions/ riddles and jokes alike.
On the other way, it is worthy of note that the completion of ASA CIVIC CENTER is a ‘LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE’;
Indeed, this monumental project is A BEACON OF EXCELLENCE – Ven. Dr. Onyeike’s leadership and dedication to delivering exceptional projects have made this vision a reality. The ASA CIVIC CENTRE is a shining example of his commitment to Excellence, and his role in shaping the future of Ukwa as a distinct Ethnic Nationality.
To determine the intrinsic value or merit of Dr. Onyeike’s transformative Leadership at ASOPADEC, it depicts a ‘beacon of Excellence’.
Recall that around 2 years ago, the governor appointed Ven. Joshua Ogadinma Onyeike PhD, as the General Manager of ASOPADEC. Since then, Ven Dr. Onyeike has demonstrated exceptional leadership in driving the agency towards unprecedented growth and development in sync with Dr Alex Otti’s political trajectory of a New Abia.
On its unparalleled performance under Dr Onyeike’s leadership, ASOPADEC has witnessed remarkable progress with projects and initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of Abians and strangers alike. His Visionary approach and commitment to Excellence have earned him widespread recognitions and accolades from Progressive ASA sons and daughters both at home and in diaspora, though he refused most awards like his Principal (Dr Alex Chioma Otti, OFR) hence his revered and Quintessential wife, Evangelist Hellen Onyeike’s philanthropy rings bell in Abia and beyond.
Permit me to highlight ASA CIVIC CENTRE as a lasting Legacy amongst all the projects done by ASOPADEC since its creation;
It is a notable achievement/ monumental project that will immortalize Dr Alex Otti’s Legacy in ASA and NDOKI . This iconic structure will serve as a HUB for Community activities, promoting Social Interaction, Cultural Exchange, and Economic Growth.
As I said earlier, the impact of ACC to Ukwa as a Community cannot be overemphasized; it will have a profound impact on the Asa Development Union as the Socio Cultural entity of the people.when properly put in use.
Something to celebrate is that the Civic Centre will be used for all important ASA DAY(26-12-2025), which is going to be a remarkable event in the annals of Ukwa history.
Succinctly speeding, Ven. Dr. Joshua Ogadinma Onyeike’s leadership in ASOPADEC has been truly transformative . His dedication to Excellence and commitment to development of Abia State via ASOPADEC have yielded impressive results. ASA CIVIC CENTRE is indeed, a testament of his Vision and Doggedness in which Ven. Dr. Onyeike IMMORTALIZED Dr. Alex Chioma Otti OFR, by complementing the governor’s Visionary Leadership in Ukwa.
Therefore, we look forward to witness continues growth and more development under Dr. Onyeike’s future political trajectory/endeavors.
