Abia State Ministry Of Environment Sets June 26 For Relaunch Of Sanitary Inspection Services (Ndi Ole Ala)

The Abia State Ministry of Environment, in partnership with key stakeholders, has announced Thursday, June 26, 2025, as the official date for the relaunch of House-to-House Sanitary Inspection Services (Ndi Ole Ala) across the state.

According to a press release authorised by the Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Philemon Asonye Ogbonna, and signed by the Ministry’s Public Relations Officer, Obioma Chidinma Success, the relaunch event will take place at 11:00 AM in the Conference Hall of the JAAC Building, Ogurube Layout, Umuahia.

The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, is expected to deliver the keynote address at the ceremony, underscoring the administration’s commitment to public health, environmental hygiene, and sustainable development.

The Ministry has also enjoined all Abians to join hands with them to raise the level of environmental sanitation and ensure general cleanliness in the homes, streets, premises, markets, neighbourhoods and communities across the 17 Local Government Areas of the State.
