A former aide to the former Mayor of Ukwa West Local Government Area, Engr. Friday Uchenna Opurum, has paid a heartfelt and memorable visit to his former boss, Mr. Newman Azu, at his workshop in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
Engr. Opurum, who previously served as Special Adviser on Special Duties, described Mr. Azu as a visionary and transformational leader whose impact still resonates across Ukwa West.

Mr. Newman Azu, now back in his vehicle importation business, was widely recognized during his tenure as Mayor for initiating and executing numerous life-changing development projects across Ukwa West Local Government Area.
