The Abia State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu has restated the commitment of the party towards taking over the Abia State Government House in 2027.
Ononogbu, who made the commitment on Tuesday at the APC Secretariat in Umuahia, warned that any of its party members found guilty of secretly or openly supporting another political party would be made to face disciplinary actions in line with the constitution of the party.
The Chairman disclosed that a Committee would be set up to investigate reports of anti-party activities it has received, adding that there would be a monitoring team to ensure that members remained committed to the goals and aspirations of the APC.
Ononogbu urged members of the party to remain zealous and dedicated, and continue in the efforts to enlarge the party’s membership.
