A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Alex Otti has declared his intention to join the race for the number one seat in Abia State.
According to a special invitation sent out to the public, Otti said, “On behalf of my family, I respectfully invite APC party leaders and members, stakeholders, friends, associates, supporters and well wishers to my official declaration to contest for the office of the governor of Abia State come 2023.”
Otti, who ran for the governorship of Abia State in 2015 and 2019 on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, announced that his declaration would take place on Easter Sunday, 17th April, 2022.
The renowned banker, though has very strong ties with Abia North, is from the Abia Central Senatorial District.
