The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike has stated that no person would destroy the political structure that he has built in Rivers State.
He said he would never allow his political structure in Rivers State to be dismantled by any human being.
In a media chat, on Friday, monitored by Newsportal, the FCT Minister wondered why the Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara would embark on the process of trying to destroy the political structure that saw to his emergence as Governor.
He alleged that the Governor decided to stoke up an ethnic crisis in the State just because the Rivers State House of Assembly initiated moves to impeach him, stressing that the Governor never called him to inform him that the House had planned to impeach him.
Wike said the Governor had exhibited obvious signs of an ingrate, adding that those supporting the Governor were also ingrates.
He said he had come to terms with the popular saying that the true character of a person cannot be ascertained until power and money were given to the person.
Continuing, Wike, who also alleged that the Governor and his people were responsible for burning down the Rivers State House of Assembly complex, said the Rivers State Governor did not pay for nomination form as a candidate for the Rivers State Governorship election.
He said that it was, indeed, too early in the day for Governor Fubara to revolt against his benefactor.
