In continuation of his campaigns, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency in the forthcoming general elections, Barrister Nnadozie Okpokiri, on Monday at Obehie in the Ukwa West Local Government Area, took his message of hope to the practising musicians in Ukwa land.
Okpokiri, while asking for the total support of the musicians, made a commitment to them that he would ensure that all groups of people in the Ukwa Federal Constituency receive attention if he is voted into power.
He said:
“I am aware of the challenges of our people, and I am prepared to use the instrumentality of the office of a federal law-maker to confront and surmount these challenges. Just give me your total support. You will not be disappointed”.
Okpokiri stated that it was lack of love by those in government for the people that has been responsible for the neglect being experienced in the area, stressing that compassionate minds would always work for the betterment of society.
The House of Representative hopeful promised to carry them along as individuals and as a group.
In their response, the musicians pledged their support for the APC Candidate.
