The Ukwa East/Ukwa West All Progressives Congress candidate, Barrister Nnadozie Okpokiri, has appealed to the people of the Federal constituency not see electioneering campaigns as opportunities to destroy relationships, especially blood relationships established by the Creator.
He stated this on Sunday when he paid a visit to some Community leaders at Ezendioma in the Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State.
Okpokiri stated that the campaigns would soon be over to usher in the elections from which those ordained by God would emerge to continue piloting the affairs of our great country.
He stressed that brotherly relationships destroyed during this period of political campaigns might take a very long time to rebuild, adding that the essence of politics is not abuse and disparage the integrity of individuals.
Okpokiri assured that he would make them proud indigenes of Ukwa if he is voted into the House of Representatives in the 2023 general elections.
He also used the opportunity to state that he has made up his mind to make sacrifices in order to ensure that the plight of Ukwa occupies the mind of those in power in Nigeria so that they accommodate the area in their developmental plans.
