The Tinubu Action Group, TAG, and other groups that support the presidency of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu have been united under one umbrella known as the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Support Group Management Council, BAT-SGMC, with Comrade Ukaegbu Chimezie Emmanuel as its Coordinator for Abia State.
In a harmonisation meeting at Lagos, coming on the heels of the emergence of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, the Convener/National Coordinator of the Group, Hon. Adewale Adeogun stated that it became necessary to unite all the groups supporting Senator Tinubu to make for better and efficient management of the campaign for the APC standard bearer to emerge victories in the 2023 general elections.
Adeogun, during a press conference, said that BAT-SGMC was strongly behind Tinubu on his choice of a running mate.
He explained that the Coordinators of all the support groups in the States should align with the State Coordinators of BAT-SGMC for seamless mobilisation, adding that the State Coordinators should nominate Coordinators for the Local Government Areas in their various States.
The Tinubu Action Group, TAG, has Ogbonna Okwandu as its National Coordinator and Folashade Olabanji-Oba, National Chairman, Association of Vice Chairmen, Nigeria and National Coordinator, Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement, ADAM.
