Leading contender for the position of Senator representing Abia South Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Kasarachi Enyinna, has reiterated his passion for improving the common lots of the people.
The philanthropist, who is the promoter of Micheal Kasarachi Foundation, had over the years been supporting good causes in his Constituency through various initiatives including free medical outreaches, soft loans, youth and women empowerment programmes and free agricultural inputs.
The APC Chieftain stressed that the era of weak, poor and selfish representation was over in Abia South Senatorial Zone, adding that the district will take its rightful position, if he is elected as a Senator.
Enyinna, while admonishing Chieftains, members, followers and supporters of the APC to sustain the ideals of the party anchored on probity, transparency and accountability during the democratic processes, cautioned the political class against violence and other undemocratic acts before, during and after the party’s primaries for various positions.
The frontline contender urged the electorate not to sell their future for a dime, adding that with responsive representation at the red chamber, there will be transformational improvement in the Senatorial district.
Speaking with a cross-section of professionals from the Zone on Tuesday, the popular aspirant pointed out that his ambition to serve as a Senator was a clarion call to take Abia South Senatorial District to greater heights.
He said, “I am humbled with the support from the people of Abia South Senatorial district.
“They have been mobilizing support for me across the nooks and crannies of Abia South Senatorial zone.
“I am optimistic of clinching the ticket of the party. I am equally confident that with my experience in all facets of life, I will attract projects to my Senatorial zone, while discharging my legislative duties and responsibilities selflessly.
“I admonish delegates and other stakeholders of the APC to make competence and popularity a top criteria in electing/adopting the party’s candidates in the forthcoming primaries for different positions”.
Enyinna promised to provide quality, responsive and unbeatable representation for the people of Abia South Senatorial district, if given the opportunity.
