As the time for the primaries of political parties draws closer, an apolitical organisation, Asa Brothers Forum, has endorsed the member representing the Ukwa West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Godwin Anyamagiobi Adiele for a second tenure.
It should be recalled that the Asa Group of Ukwa West Local Government Area had, in February 2022, given its nod to the lawmaker to vie for a second term.
While playing host to the Forum, Hon. Adiele, thanked them for appreciating his efforts and accomplishments as a lawmaker, adding that he would continue to deliver democracy dividends.
Speaking earlier, the President General of Asa Brothers Forum, Mr. Light Nwosu, stated that the group was motivated by the enormous accomplishments of the lawmaker in the past three years to adopt him as its consensus candidate for the Abia State House of Assembly in the 2023 general elections.
Nwosu, who said the Asa Brothers Forum was committed to the economic, social and political emancipation of Asa land, commended the honourable member for human capital development efforts and infrastructural development of Ukwa West Local Government Area.
In attendance during the visit, which attracted many members of the Forum, were the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Forum, Mr. Richard Ikechukwu Nwankwo, the Secretary, Engr. Ogbonna Nnamdi and the Director of Media and Publicity, Comrade O. P. Ifeanyichukwu.
