The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Ukwa West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly in the 2023 general elections, Mr. Noble Izuchukwu Ahuruonye has advocated that those to be entrusted with political power should be people with great vision and solution to the problems of the common man.
He said that societal challenges could not be solved based on sentiments and selfish interests.
Writing on his verified Facebook account, Ahuruonye, who is a Geologist by training, said:
“We may blame our Nation, Government, leaders, society, family, friends and ourself in most cases for the things we experience in life but nothing ever happens by coincidence, they are the outcome of our choices.
“Any society without a vision can’t grow and when there’s no vision, it becomes an impossible equation. People attend heights of success not because they are younger, older, more intelligent or blessed than others, It started in their mind which is the battle field.”
The House of Assembly hopeful recalled that while he was growing up, there was a better education system that imparted great knowledge in every child, adding that the system taught them about hard work, responsibility, discipline, morals, patience and tolerance.
