A Port Harcourt based pentecostal church, the Omega Power Ministries, OPM, founded by popular philanthropist and televangelist, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere has announced its readiness to empower youths of Ohanku Community in the Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State in the area of shoes making.
In a publication, the Ministry said it has purchased all equipment to train the Ohanku youths on how to make shoes, which shall trade as Made in Ohanku.
“A professional shoe builder employed by Apostle Chibuzor lead them to Aba for the purchase.”, the publication adds.
According to the publication, there would be a free training to empower Ohanku youths residing in the village who are interested in learning shoe making, adding that after the training, they shall be empowered to start building their own MADE IN OHANKU SHOES and Apostle Chibuzor would help them look for available market in crowded areas like churches and schools. The 29 OPM free schools would also be an avenue to sell the shoes.
