Abia Environment Commissioner, Ogbonna Felicitates HRH Eze Dike On Emergence As Chairman Ukwa West Traditional Rulers Council

The Commissioner for Environment in Abia State, Mr. Philemon Asonye Ogbonna has felicitated His Royal Highness, Eze Chinyere Dike on his emergence as the Chairman of the Ukwa West Traditional Rulers Council.

Eze Dike was on Friday at Okeikpe, the headquarters of Ukwa West Local Government Area elected as Chairman during an exercise that was conducted by 2nd Deputy Chairman, Abia State Traditional Rulers Council, HRH Eze Franklin Nwosu and a Director in the Abia State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Prince Obinna. Other traditional rulers elected to pilot the affairs of the Ukwa West Traditional Rulers Council were; HRH Eze Onyemauwa Nwagbara as Vice Chairman, HRH Eze Evans Okere, Secretary, HRH Eze Agu Chukwuemeka, Treasurer, HRH Eze Tunde Ehiemere, Welfare and HRH Eze Okwuonu Chigbu, Provost.

In a congratulatory message on Monday, Ogbonna described Eze Dike as a man of vision and great courage, who would always speak against injustice no matter whose ox is gored.

He urged the traditional ruler and members of his team to cooperate with the government of Abia State ably led by Dr. Alex Otti in the fight against insecurity, and drive towards creating a new Abia.

Ogbonna prayed God to give the new leadership of the Ukwa West Traditional Rulers Council the grace to function in a manner that will be beneficial to all their subjects.
