President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Hon. Sam Onuigbo as representative of the South East on the board of the North East Development Commission, NEDC.
Onuigbo was the immediate past member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The nomination was contained in a letter signed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and read on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
The Board is to be chaired by Gen. Paul Tarfa (retd) from Adamawa in the North East region.
