Former Governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia North Senatorial Zone, Orji Uzor Kalu has assured his constituents of better dividends of democracy as his second tenure begins June 13, 2023.
Writing on his Facebook page on Saturday, Kalu said:
“With over 50 Bills and 350 infrastructural projects to my credit, I joined my colleagues to observe the Valedictory session at the Senate to mark the end of its Four Year Tenure. The achievements recorded in my first term wouldn’t have been possible without your mandate and of course your unalloyed support through this four year Legislative journey of which I am very grateful for.
“I extend my profound gratitude to my dear constituents, family, Distinguished colleagues, our dear former President Muhammadu Buhari, my Staff ,well wishers and other well meaning Nigerians for their selfless contributions to make my first tenure a fruitful one.
“As we look forward to the commencement of the 10th Senate, by the grace of God, I assure my dear constituents to expect better dividends of democracy and also pledge my unalloyed support to dear President Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to achieve the goals of the “Renewed Hope” Agenda for the betterment of dear country Nigeria.”
