The Ozar Ukwu villages of Owo-Ala, Owo-Asa and Umuadienwe could not control their excitement on Wednesday, as the Ukwa East/Ukwa West All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate Barrister Nnadozie Okpokiri flagged off his tour of the villages in grand style.
Okpokiri, who was accompanied by many stakeholders of the APC, unveiled his nine point manifesto which touches on Restructuring, Security, Education, Infrastructure,Agriculture, Environment, Health, Economy, Women and Youth Empowerment.
He pointed out that it required good laws to address the challenges of any given society, adding that he was prepared to sponsor and support bills in the Green Chamber that would turn around the fortunes of Ukwa Federal Constituency.
Okpokiri assured the people that within four years of his tenure that he would attract a higher institution in Ukwa land, stressing that it would be the easiest way of fast-tracking the generation of employment to the teeming youth population.
Those that spoke on behalf of the villages assured Okpokiri of their votes, and wished him well as he continues with his campaigns across the Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency.
The visit to the villages attracted large turn-out of enthusiastic sons and daughters of Ozar Ukwu Ward in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State.
Its a mark of success
