President Muhammadu Buhari has granted approval for the inauguration of the new Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
The news of the approval was contained in an invitation letter to critical Stakeholders of the Niger Delta Region by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Engr. Adebiyi Olufunso.
The letter reads in part:
“Following the recent confirmation and clearance of the newly constituted Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) by the Senate, the President has further granted approval for the inauguration of the Board to commence work immediately”.
According to the invitation letter, the new Board will be inaugurated on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
