Abia: Tinubu Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council Unveils Officers In Ukwa West

The Ukwa West Local Government Area chapter of the Tinubu Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council on Tuesday at Owo Ala in Ukwa West of Abia State, unveiled its officers.

Speaking at the occasion, the Coordinator of the chapter, Mr. ThankGod Ntaku told the members that the primary responsibility of the Grassroots Independent Campaign Council was to increase the support base of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the grassroots level through door-to-door approach.

He said that the majority of voters in Nigeria was at the various local government areas of Nigeria, adding that it was important to massively sensitise them for the Tinubu Shettima project.

Ntaku also said that the Executive Committee of the Council at the local government area levels was expected to constitute officers at both the Wards and Polling Units to drive the vision of the door-to-door campaign.

He assured the Committee that whatever support the chapter receives from the State would be ploughed into the project to ensure victory for Tinubu and Shettima.

In his contribution, Pastor Steve Adindu Nwankwo expressed appreciation for his nomination into the Committee, and enjoined all members to work assiduously towards ensuring that Tinubu wins in their various Polling Units.

He urged members to be willing to make sacrifices in the interest of the party, adding that there was need for leaders to improve on their reward system in the APC.

Other members who spoke highlighted the need for financial mobilisation to facilitate the work of the Committee.

Members of the Council include; Hon. Sebastine Anyasor, Pastor Steve Adindu Nwankwo, Apostle Abraham Isiguzo and Comrade Vincent Emeka.

Others are: Mrs Mabel Nnah, Nkemdirim Onyike, Chief Chijioke Nza (jnr), Jerry Elechi, Christian Nwolu and Rev. Augustine Amadi
