The Ukwa East/Ukwa West All Progressives Congress, APC, Candidate for the House of Representatives, Barrister Nnadozie Okpokiri has called on the people of his Constituency to show brotherly love all through the yuletide season and beyond.
Okpokiri gave this advise in his Christmas message to all residents of Ukwa Federal Constituency.
He described the season as a period of reflection on the quality of relationship people have with God, adding that only love for the people can engender good governance and good representation.
His statement reads in part:
“This season of Christmas demands that people show one another love. It is time for Christians all over the world to show brotherly love.
“As a matter of fact, the brotherly love should continue beyond the yuletide season. It is also a season to reflect on the quality of relationship we have with God Almighty. I believe that only love for the people can engender good governance and good representation.”
The House of Representative hopeful expressed confidence in the Biblical saying that those who put their trust in God would never be put to shame.
