The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections, Barrister Nnadozie Okpokiri has called on members of the party in the Constituency to be remain calm notwithstanding the ongoing tussle over who is the authentic governorship candidate of the party in the State.
In a press statement released on Sunday, Okpokiri reminded members of the party that they should be focused on winning the 2023 general elections at all levels.
His statement reads in part:
“I am well aware that many of you are highly concerned about the various court pronouncements on who is the authentic candidate of our great party in Abia State.
“I have found it expedient to let all members of the party in the Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency know that it is important to continue the mobilisation of our people to vote for the APC during the forthcoming elections.
“I am confident that our judiciary will resolve all pending issues before the 2023 general elections.
“It is important to note that our party is still intact”.
