The Tinkas Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Group, one of the Support groups for the emergence of the standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the president of Nigeria in 2023, has appointed a Chieftain of the party in Ukwa West Local Government Area, Pastor Steve Adindu Nwankwo, as the Coordinator of the Campaign Group in Abia State.
In the letter of appointment signed by the National Chairman of the Group, Ahmed Idris, made available to Newsportal, Nwankwo is expected to mobilise registered voters from all polling Units of the Abia State, and those that have not collected their permanent voter’s cards to do so, and cast their ballot for all the APC candidates in the 2023 general elections.
Nwankwo, who has been a strong member of the APC since 2015, was the Assistant Secretary of the Ukwa West chapter of the party.
He was actively involved in facilitating logistics arrangements during the 2019 elections for the party.
