A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State, Chief Nwogu Nnah Nwogu has congratulated Dr. Uzoma Elizabeth Emenike on the conferment of the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON), on her by Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari.
Dr Mrs Emenike, the current and first female Ambassador to the United States of America, was among the 447 distinguished Nigerians and Foreigners that were honoured with different awards on Tuesday.
Nwogu said the award given to Mrs Emenike was well deserved considering her various contributions to the growth and development of Nigeria.
He urged the award recipient to continue in her drive to improve the lots of the vulnerable in the society, particularly the children.
Nwogu, who is also the Abia State APC Treasurer, prayed for God’s continued grace upon the life of the recipient, adding that it was impossible for anyone to achieve anything in life without the blessings of God Almighty.
