A former Aspirant for the House of Assembly seat in the Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2019 general elections, Hon. Wisdom Ndukaku Silas, has resigned from the party.
Silas, who was also a Councillorship Candidate of the APC between 2016 and 2017, cited the crisis in the party as the basis for his resignation.
In his resignation letter dated August 16, 2022, addressed to the Ogwe Ward Chairman of the party, Silas stated that there was disharmony, division, neglect and protracted crisis in the Abia State APC.
The Port Harcourt based Movie Producer, Entertainer and Travel Consultant was a very active member of the APC in Ukwa West before his resignation.
