The Abia State Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, High Chief Ikechi Emenike, on Sunday, in the company of the party Chairman, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu and other prominent Ukwa APC stakeholders, paid a condolence visit to former President of the Senate, Dr. Adolphus Wabara, who lost his wife recently.
Speaking, Emenike, who extolled the virtues of women and their indispensability in homes, prayed God to grant the former Senate President the strength to endure the passing of his dear wife.
Responding, Dr. Adolphus Wabara thanked High Chief Emenike for the visit and expressed happiness that he came with a large entourage to identify with him in his time of grief.
High Chief Emenike’s entourage comprising Ukwa APC stalwarts among whom were former Commissioner, Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief Nwogu Nnah Nwogu, former State Deputy Chairman, Chief William Nwanguma, Ezedinachi Kanu, Blessings Adokiye Dans, Dr. Chidi Nwankpa, Dr. Tom Otuka, ThankGod Ntaku, Engr. Chinwendu Uruakpa and some of the members of the party’s Executive Committee, later proceeded to the country home of an illustrious son of Ndoki land, Reverend Felix Akara, who prayed for the success of the APC in the 2023 general elections.
Emenike used the auspicious moments to state that he would build a specialised University in Ukwa, ensure that the blue river at Azumini-Ndoki is commercialised, Obehie – Azumini road made motorable if elected as the Governor of Abia State in 2023.
