Frontline Aspirant for the ticket of the Abia South Senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Kasarachi Enyinna has described as deliberate falsehood the news making the rounds that the leader of the party in Abia State, High Chief Ikechi Emenike has endorsed a particular aspirant for the ticket of the Abia South Senatorial District.
In a statement issued by the Media Unit of the Senatorial Aspirant on Sunday, High Chief Emenike would not endorse a particular aspirant in a contest that is to be determined by primary election, adding that the perpetrators of the rumour had set out to cause confusion and disillusionment among right thinking members of the party.
The release appealed to the teeming supporters of Enyinna not to get discouraged by the rumour which, according to him, was hatched by those who do not wish the party to make any meaningful progress in Abia State.
It reiterated the commitment of Enyinna towards redefining representation in Abia South Senatorial District positively, stressing that only a focused, self-driven and pragmatic person could wrestle power from the Peoples Democratic Party.
