The Council headquarters of Aguata Local Government Area in Anambra State is reported to have been attacked by persons suspected to be unknown gunmen in the afternoon of Thursday.
It should be recalled that the headquarters of Nnewi South Local Government Area in Anambra State was attacked Thursday, last week, by suspected unknown gunmen.
Report has it that the hoodlums also attacked the market in Ekwulobia town that is very close to the Council headquarters.
The spokesman of the Anambra State Police Command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu is also reported to have informed a journalist that when the report of the fire incident was made, the Command deployed men to the area and the situation was brought under control.
