The Northern Elders Forum, NEF, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as not only a disappointment to the North but the entire country.
The Spokesman of the Forum, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, who stated this on Saturday during a meeting of Northern Leaders of thought in Kaduna State, disclosed that the region would support any presidential candidate that has the capacity to tackle the socio-economic and security challenges confronting the Nation no matter where the person comes from.
The Forum said it was deceived into voting Buhari, believing that he would transform the Country, adding that Nigeria had become worse than the President met it, as kidnapping and banditry has become the order of the day.
Baba-Ahmed stated that the North and the South had equal rights to contest for the exalted office of President in 2023.
